Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Early Updates

According to a report by SBS Biz (News broadcaster in South Korea), The samsung is planning to announce samsung galaxy series on 17th January 2024. The report suggests that the S24 series will also be the company’s first phone to feature generative AI technology.


The series may include following: 

  • Galaxy S24: A 6.2-inch Full HD+ OLED display, 4,000 mAh battery, 25W fast charging, 8GB of RAM, and 128/256/512GB storage
  • Galaxy S24 Plus: Similar to the S23 counterpart
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra: A 6.8-inch Quad-HD screen, 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage 
  • An iPhone-like titanium body
  • New display technology
  • Improved AI functionality
  • Zoom Anyplace (Samsung’s ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace is a video feature that allows users to record both the full field of view and zoomed-in areas simultaneously. The feature can record zoomed videos at up to 4x while maintaining a full 4K capture.)

Battery

The Galaxy S24 is expected to have a larger 4,000mAh battery, compared to the 3,700mAh and 3,900mAh batteries of the Galaxy S22 and S23, respectively.


Processor

The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to use Samsung’s Exynos chips in most global markets.

This processor may also supports on-device AI processing, which enables features such as text-to-image conversion.

In Nepalese and South Asian Market, The S24 series is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.


Design and colors

The Galaxy S24 is rumored to have a premium titanium frame, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models. Additionally, the display is expected to have 40 per cent slimmer bezels than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The hole-punch cutout for the front camera is also likely to be smaller and repositioned for a more streamlined appearance. 

The device will be available in a variety of vibrant colors, including:

Black, Gray, Violet, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Orange.

All three models in the Galaxy S24 lineup may have flatter sides, improving grip and ergonomics for a more comfortable user experience.
